Covid 19: Olumba Olumba Obu Disburses Cash Gifts, Food Items to BCS Priests in A'Ibom



His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu, The Leader, Unified Universal Theocratic Council and Head of Administration, Brotherhood of the Cross and Star Worldwide, in His children, Patriarch Christ Shepherd Bassey Imowo, Dean BCS College of Bishop and the Akwa Ibom State Executive Council of BCS headed by His Grace, Archbishop (Hon. Justice) A
E. Archibong disbursed cash and food items to Priests of the Church in Akwa Ibom State.

The relief materials which was shared to over 600 branches of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star in the State, is to help cushion the harsh effect of the deadly Corona Virus which has forced Churches and businesses to lockdown in the State.

According to the Head of the Committee assigned for the disbursement of the relief materials, Christ Ambassador Godwin Edem, "the gesture is a symbol of the Father's unrelenting love for his children in a time like this."

He assured that the almighty God through his grace and love will continue to guide and furnish his faithful children with inexhaustible blessings in and outside the State until the end of time.

Christ Ambassador Edem also advised every faithful of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star to respect governments' Stay at Home order, reiterating that Corona Virus pandemic will soon come to an end.

However, the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star is one of the few Churches that catered for their members since the  advent of Corona Virus in Nigeria.

The Senate President Godswill Akpabio and 10 senators are expected to receive the 2023 governorship candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) in Akwa Ibom State, Bassey Albert, into the All Progressives Congress (APC) today, Friday, in Akwa Ibom. A source, who disclosed this to PREMIUM TIMES, said the event will take place in the afternoon at Mr Akpabio’s hometown, Ukana, Essien Udim Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom. “The senators are already in town, they are lodging at a hotel in Ikot Ekpene.
