In Eleme local government area, there exist two covid19 taskforce teams, one from the state headed by a group of PDP members not in the same camp with the council boss and the other constituted by the LGA council chairman which the wanted PDP youth leader is a member. The youth leader who is said to have criminal records before he defected to the PDP from APC. The LGA taskforce gave Prudent and Etemeteh Hotels the go ahead order to operate even with the lockdown. The state taskforce got the info and moved to enforce the lockdown order only for the manager of one of the hotels to put call across to the LGA taskforce led by the wanted PDP youth leader, they responded and descended on the state taskforce members.
