A' Ibom Pays Poorest Pensions- NUP Chairman

State Chairman, Nigeria Union of Pensioners,   Obong  Daniel Ekpo The Akwa Ibom state Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP) Obong Daniel Ekpo has decried the poor living conditions of Pensioners in Akwa Ibom state Speaking with journalists recently in Uyo, he said the major reason why many Pensioners who are still lucky to be alive in the midst of the misery they are facing and some died as a result is because the state and federal governments have refused to treat them as  equally human beings living in the present day Nigeria with the existing harsh economy realities " There was a time when N600 or N800 was money and that was what somebody earned several years ago. It is inhuman to continue to pay such ridiculous amount of money to a family man who may still have to pay school fees of children, pay rent and pay for health care which is usually high for somebody that is aging. 2023: Accord installs Party structures, flags- off state Secretariat •••Nat Chairman Roots For A'bom President

The Chairman of Accord in Akwa Ibom state, Engr. Martins Inyang has broken the record of over a decade of the political party's existence in the state by establishing structures from unit to state levels in readiness for the 2023 general elections on time and establishing a befitting state Secretariat for the party. Dignitaries who attended the flag-off of the state party office along 2 lanes, Uyo described him as an  astute and focused politician who has large following at the grassroots. Flagging- off the party's Secretariat and hoisting the flag, the National Chairman of Accord, Alhaji Muhammad Lawal Nalado said he and the national executive members of the party were very proud  of Engr. Martin Inyang's commitment to excellence and making a difference in the party. Accord Party begins membership registration/revalidation in A'Ibom

  •Warns members against fraudsters   Ahead of 2023 election, the Accord Party in Akwa Ibom State has commenced registration and revalidation of new and  old Members across the thirty one local government areas of the State. This formed the crux of the Stakeholders' meeting held at the Party State Secretariat, 82 Nsikak Edward Road (Two Lanes) Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital, yesterday. Distributing the registration/revalidation forms to local government chapters, the State Chairman of the Party, Xt Amb Martins Inyang expressed readiness to showcase transparency in his leadership, and urged the chapter and ward leaders to ensure equitable distribution of the forms to all intending and old members of the Party, adding that the registration forms is free of charge. He condemned in strong terms the recent fraudulent charges in the registration forms perpetrated by suspected criminals in the State, reiterating that the process is free and the forms should not be duplicated.
