•••As VC Outlines 67 PG Programmes, 42 Faculties Michael Ufot License and other certifications has be secured for a new Campus Radio Station, AKSU Fm, to add value to broadcast students in Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU). Mass Communication has also been splited into four departments of Public Relations, Advertising, Broadcasting, Journalism and Media Studies to ensure specialisation. The Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Nse Essien disclosed this during his familiarisation visit to the State Executive Committee of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Akwa Ibom State Council yesterday. Prof Essien further stated that 67 Post Graduate Programmes spanning from PGD, MSC, MPA, MBA and Ph.D has been approved for the institution, adding that 42 academic programmes has also gained full accreditation in the Akwa Ibom State University.
