In a release signed by the State's IPAC Chairman Ambassador Ogar Osim, and made available to our newsroom yesterday, IPAC described the initiative as all important, expressing optimism that leaders across  board will begin to engage the youths meaningfully, adding that  youths are not only tomorrow’s but today's leaders.

The summit which is slated to hold on Saturday February 19, 2022 at the Esuene Sports Stadium in Calabar, with the theme "The Future is Now" has been described as apt and timely.

The release reads in part:
The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) in Cross River State congratulates the Youth Lobby Group in Cross River State for the monumental initiative to bring together about 50,000 young people across the South-South region for a phenomenal discussion and sensitization on increased youth participation in politics, governance, business and nation-building.
