A'Ibom Accord Party Passes Vote of Confidence On Martins Inyang -Carpet Chairman's Critics

 


The State Working Committee and 28 Chapter Chairmen in Accord Party in Akwa Ibom State  have passed a vote of confidence on its State Chairman, Rt. Hon. Martins Inyang over what they described as transparent and people oriented leadership. 

The party officials  have also vowed to work together in unity to build a formidable party that will not only contest but will win the confidence and mandate of the people to serve in different political positions in Akwa Ibom State. 

This formed part of the resolutions reached at the end of the joint meeting of Accord Party held at the Party secretariat, Uyo on Thursday January 11, 2024. 

The people after recounting the efforts of the State Chairman in planting and nurturing Accord Party in every unit, ward and local government areas of Akwa Ibom State before the just concluded 2023 elections, mentioned that such effort can never go unappreciated. 

They reiterated their determinations to defend and support Rt Hon. Inyang to succeed beyond what they described as mere propaganda by smear campaigners. 

"We have listened carefully and we also understand the bad campaigns and character assassination meddled against our State Chairman. We will continue to support him, back him up and stand by him through thick and thin."

"We were here when our Chairman started planting this party in every unit, wards and local government areas in Akwa Ibom State. The question is: where were the blackmailers? Why now? We have just one State Chairman and that is Rt Hon. Martins Inyang." They added. 

Speaking earlier, the State Chairman of Accord Party, Rt. Hon. Martins Inyang thanked the Party Executives for their efforts in building the party despite the distractions by some persons. 

He charged the people to remain united with love to build the party, assuring that they will remain relevant beyond 2027  at the State and federal levels.

 Highpoint of the get-together was sharing of Christmas and new year largesse to the deserving party exco members and other merriments.
