Martha Udom Sacks Ephraim Inyang's Wife as FEYReP Coordinator

24 hours after Governor Udom Emmanuel sacked Akparawa Ephraim Inyang-eyen as his Chief of Staff, the first lady Dr. Martha Emmanuel, has relieved Mrs Ime Inyang-eyen, wife to the sacked Chief of Staff, of her position as Coordinator of Family Empowerment and Youth Reorientation Path Initiative, FEYReP.

The Eyes Newspaper gathered that the wife of ONNA local government Chairman, Dr. Idorenyin Ekanem has been appointed Acting Coordinator of FEYReP.

It can be recalled that in a letter dated Tuesday 22 February, 2022, signed by  Dr. Emmanuel Ekuwem Secretary to State Government,  appreciation was conveyed to Ephraim Inyang-eyen on behalf of the Akwa Ibom State Governor Mr. Udom Emmanuel for his worthy contributions to the development of the State while serving as Chief of Staff to the Governor.



Findings indicated that after the sack of Ephraim Inyang-eyen, the Governor’s wife was left with no other choice than to relieve Ephraim Inyang-eyen’s wife as coordinator of FEYReP, a position she held since the establishment of the pet project by Udom Emmanuel’s wife.

Her relief, according to our source who did not want her name mentioned, was conveyed to her the same day her husband was relieved.

Dr. Idorenyin Ekanem, the new coordinator has been an active member of FEYReP from the beginning and she is to serve in acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive coordinator.

The Senate President Godswill Akpabio and 10 senators are expected to receive the 2023 governorship candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) in Akwa Ibom State, Bassey Albert, into the All Progressives Congress (APC) today, Friday, in Akwa Ibom.
