Press Freedom Day: Uyo Council Boss Harps on Objective Reportage

    The executive chairman: of Uyo local government council, Uwemedimo Udo Ph.D, has urged journalists in Akwa Ibom State to ensure strict adherence to upholding professional ethics of objectivity, fairness and balance in reporting events and analysing  issues. The Uyo Council Boss gave the admonition while receiving members of the 2022 Press Freedom Day Committee of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Akwa Ibom State Council, that paid  a courtesy visit on him in his office yesterday. While saluting the ingenuity and creativity of Amos Etuk's led NUJ State Council, Udo stressed the need for media houses to engage on training and retraining of journalists to ensure objective reportage for a peaceful society.
