Peter Obi 2 million mega march holds in Uyo, Saturday, New Nigeria beckons- party chairman


The State Chairman of Labour Party in Akwa Ibom State, Comrade Lincoln Charles has invited the  electorates and lovers of Obi-dient in Akwa Ibom State to a two million mega solidarity match for his party's presidential candidate, Peter Obi on Saturday October 1, 2022.

Addressing journalists at Victor Attah International Airport in Uyo today, the Labour Party chairman disclosed that the rally will begin from Water Fountain, Nwaniba Road Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital at exactly 9.00am prompt.

He explained that Peter Obi has come as an answered prayer to rescue Nigeria from the present sorry state, adding that Akwa Ibom people cannot be left behind in the solidarity mega march on Saturday.

Comrade Lincoln Charles who foresees Peter Obi as the next President of Nigeria in 2023, mentioned that Nigerians are tired of bad leadership that has left the country with pains and acrimony for too long.

He however called his party faithfuls, the OBIdients and those who are yearning for a better Nigeria to come out for the two million mega solidarity match, assuring that Labour Party will rescue the country from the present decay.

The two million mega solidarity match for Peter Obi is slated to hold on Saturday October 1, 2022. The Nigeria Labour Congress, supporters of Labour Party, OBIdients and others are expected to gather at the Water Fountain, Nwaniba Road Uyo at exactly 9.00am.

The Senate President Godswill Akpabio and 10 senators are expected to receive the 2023 governorship candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) in Akwa Ibom State, Bassey Albert, into the All Progressives Congress (APC) today, Friday, in Akwa Ibom. A source, who disclosed this to PREMIUM TIMES, said the event will take place in the afternoon at Mr Akpabio’s hometown, Ukana, Essien Udim Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom. “The senators are already in town, they are lodging at a hotel in Ikot Ekpene.
