 Says NCC is Unconstitutional 

•••2027 Aspirants Lobby for Party Nods

The State Working Committee (SWC) of Labour Party met during an emergency meeting on  Sunday to address imminent development  in the state, which bothers on the party to immediately react for record purposes.

 Top on the agenda is the sudden death of the First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, Her Excellency, Pastor (Mrs) Patience Umo Eno, which the party had already released an official condolence message to the Governor and the family.

 Another was to draw the  attention of the loyal Labour Party members, enthusiast, lovers, friends and the general public, to disregard, ignore and treat as fake news to misinform, disparage and abuse their minds. Some funny individuals gathered at the instance of the former governorship candidate of the party in the just concluded 2023 general election to confer on him the position  of the Leader of the party  without the clear knowledge and permission or clearance from the SWC of the party.

 Party Leadership is the prerogative, consent and agreement of the SWC and SEC of our party to confer as an act of recognition or honour on an individual and this could not have been considered especially when he or she contested election and failed. If any Candidate contested  and won in an election of any office he or she can be  assumed to be leader depending on the circumstances. The general public is please advised to note that constitutionally Comrade Lincoln Charles is the authentic and recognized State Chairman and Leader of the party in the state for now, he has not on behalf of the party conferred, authorized or crowned any former candidate of the party at any level.

 The SWC recently reacted to a purported online publications making the rounds about Labour Party's tenure expiration at the national and state. NCC purported an online fake news that LP Leadership has been dissolved at both states and national, paving way for illicit formulation of  NCC in umuahia recently.  We want to once again state that it is the handiwork of ingrates whom Labour Party graciously granted its platform to contest for various offices available in the just concluded 2023 elections, a greater percentage of them could not pay for their nomination forms, but today the successful ones and even the losers have ganged up to antagonize the party. One of the outcome is the reported gathering of ingrates, grabbers and inordinate power mongers who gathered in umuahia to formulate illegal NCC to cause disaffection and create division in each state of the federation. We want to also warn the vulnerable public especially our members whom we noticed are fraternizing with the so called NCC to be wary of them. They're a combination of wolf in  sheep clothing, who have nothing to offer, even in  our state NCC leadership formation is already in disarray, confused, self centered and lacking in intelligent organizational delivery. Their aims and expectations is Peter Obi and Gov Alex Otti's Abia State money as displayed in the days of Peter Obi campaign and election funds which was shared among cronies. They're back in the name of stakeholders, Peace Reconciliation Committee of Labour Party and Congress elections, pls ignore the crooks. Labour Party under the Leadership of Barr. Julius Abure, Comrade Lincoln Charles, Chairman at the state and national, Party Constitution, Electoral Act and Nigeria Constitution does not recognize their foolery. Very soon this usurpers and opportunists who are always wanting to reap where they never sowed will fizzle out in frustration and go back to where they belong.
